We at Bible Believers Baptist Church Central Coast are always delighted to welcome new visitors. We hope you will join us and see what God has to say through His word and the pastor’s preaching.
We are located in north San Luis Obispo county of California. We are the only King James Bible believing (not correcting) church within 3 hours. The Lord Jesus Christ is important to us, therefore His word is important to us; which is why we hold firmly to His perfectly preserved words in the AV 1611 King James Bible.
We worship the Lord Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth through traditional, God honoring hymns of the faith, chock full o' scripture and worship of our God.
We seek out the old paths and stick to them.
“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…” (Jeremiah 6:16)
Our motto is, “Contending for the Faith as We See the Day Approaching.” In order to contend (fight), a soldier must have sure footing. Our foundation is made of ROCK. Our foundation is the Lord Jesus Christ and His word.
“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11)
The Coat of Arms
Coat of arms were used primarily to establish identity in battle. Later to be used to denote family descent, adoption and alliance.
The desire of our church is to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and to encourage each other to live a life pleasing to Him. Upon salvation the Christian is seated in Christ; sealed unto the day of redemption. While we live our lives on earth, we wait for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. In doing so, a life of holiness is necessary to maintain a proper fellowship with Him.
The Bible Believers Baptist Church Central Coast coat of arms is Christ-centered, and identifies us with the way of life we consider both biblical and practical.
Crown: royalty; King of kings and Lord of lords; Jesus Christ the King of our lives
Lion: the Lion of Judah; Messiah descended from the tribe of Judah; the Lord Jesus Christ
Lamb: the Lamb of God; our perfect sacrifice; bringer of salvation; Jesus Christ
The shield face denotes the Christian’s four-root system in Christ, which must be cultivated daily:
1) Bible - Word of God
2) Prayer - Words with God
3) Faith - Living with God
4) Holiness - Living for God
