About Calli Calvert; Pastor Vincent Calvert’s wife of Bible Believers Baptist Church:
“When I was 12 years old I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer; neuroblastoma. The doctors told my parents that I wasn’t going to make it. Despite my bleak prognosis my parents relentlessly pursued leading specialists and cutting-edge treatments across the U.S. I navigated multiple recurrences, surgeries, chemo, radiation, and later graduating high school and Cal Poly against immense odds.
Later on, in 2021, at the age of 32, I was diagnosed with breast cancer as a result of radiation treatment that I had received for neuroblastoma. And my most recent reoccurrence with Neuroblastoma was in 2022.
I am now living a completely normal life thanks to the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ and innovative care.
My faith has been my anchor through it all, and my confidence in eternity is Heaven gave me hope for a future despite what the doctors said.”

Cancer 
and Christian Life Ladies Bible Study
We will be offering a ladies 8 week “Cancer and the Christian Life: How to Fight the Good Fight of Faith Through Cancer” Bible study every Fall and Spring. Please check our event page or contact us for the next available Bible study. Come get your questions answered about Why Christians suffer, Who we are in Christ, What are Christians to do in the midst of suffering as well as What Cancer can’t do, and How to fight the good fight of faith even through cancer. This study is good for anyone facing any sort of suffering, not just cancer.
