Desert-Dwelling Christian – how the church is like a well in this spiritual wasteland

In the desert, a well is precious to life. After it is Dug, water is Drawn to sustain life, then the well should be Defended from decay and attack. A church is very similar — a church is Built, then from it is Drawn the precious waters of life, flowing from God’s holy word. And very importantly, the church is Defended from the wiles of Satan himself.
